A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY PATH TO BSR

MY STORY

After more than 40 years in the carpentry trade, I started looking for a new career to take me into the later stage of my life. While I had no idea what to transition to, I was familiar with kinesiology and had been told by more than one person that I had a “healer quality” to me. When I would hear this, I couldn’t foresee myself in a health care profession, and yet, I kept an open mind to all possibilities.

While in South Africa in mid 2016, I developed, from no apparent cause, pain in my left shoulder which limited my range of motion, and after 6 weeks, was showing no signs of going away. Being in a very physical occupation, I was used to many aches and pains, but this had a different feel to it and showed no signs of improvement. As fate would have it, my wife had a copy of Gail Meggersee’s book – “Self-healing with Body Stress Release” (Gail and her late husband, Ewald, are the developers of BSR) and encouraged me to read it, which I did, and found resonance with this whole concept right off. I found a local practitioner, and after having my initial 3 sessions, I immediately knew I had found my new calling. I applied for the training and was accepted for the 2017 course which is held in the beautiful Garden Route of South Africa.

I have always liked working with my hands, and BSR is definitely a hands-on modality. One element that really sold me on it was the concept of using the client’s body as a bio-feedback mechanism to get the answers as to what that specific person required to get back on track and to be able to self-heal. I am continually amazed that such a simple and gentle technique can produce such profound results.

The very same principles and personal beliefs also apply to the Asyra system and Migun bed - putting the body into a position to self-heal. So all techniques and modalities have this common thread.

It gives me great pleasure to see smiles on my client’s faces as they find restored health, where before was a look of deep concern that nothing could be done to correct their problem(s). I look forward to working with you and am committed to getting to the root cause of what holds your body back from its innate ability to heal itself. Will you join me in this commitment?
